I remember Fred as a clever engineer and accomplished project leader who led by example. Hé always liked to dress smartly and had a benevolent smile that somehow raised sprits and spread good humour amongst his colleagues. He was courteous and approachable and liked to help younger, less experienced engineers. He was level headed and self-assured, even in the most difficult situation. Overall, he was a gentle and kind man who touched the lives of many, always in good ways. He will be remembered fondly and with appreciation. Thanks Fred.
